Hello hello Tyler Bryden here hope everything’s going well. It’s a very exciting time Burning Man 2022 it’s on its way the excitement is here the the anxiety is here and starting to loosely plan what this looks like. One of the things that I wanted to amplify to help do that is the actual unofficial map of Black Rock City for Burning Man. Now I shared this in a previous video. At the time it was not looking like this. It did not have that many camps who had listed their details in it yet so. I logged back in to check this out and saw oh man, this is. This is starting to be real populated now and I think as people are sort of.

Getting excited or searching for this or trying to figure out you know what’s going on. Maybe it’s their first time and they’re trying to figure out the setup of the layout layout, where their camps are. Are there any camps that are cool around them? You know, if they are, you know excited about maybe the events page or schedule there. They’re trying to figure out where is this actually taking place, and so this is a really cool way that continues to grow. There is a dedicated about page here, which is, you know, just an awesome just thank you for putting this together.

Really great way to do it. I will say you know, at the actual event itself we should get some sort of handbook and then there’s an application that allows you to see where camps are, what events are going on. I got lost in that many times in 2019, but if you’re because we don’t have that yet, this is the I think the next best thing. And it’s an incredible contribution from the people who built it. You can add your own camp. You can also add your art. There is archives going back to different years, which is awesome and then you can zoom in and you know you can start to see different different basically.

Steps and so I see for example, Empire Square, a queer Burning Man camp, and then if there’s a website, even like a dedicated website, they actually link that that one has a privacy here, so I’m not going to go through it, but you get the point. You can jump through and click on all of these and find out the camps. I don’t know if our camp is here. We are camp majestic for anyone who is interested in connecting. I know I’ve connected with a couple of Burning Man people through YouTube and I’m glad that I have. I still feel.

Weird posting about YouTube just around you know I’m not really. I don’t feel like I’m really trying to promote myself. I’m just trying to share a resource that is really helpful for me and that I’m personally excited about as just I’m trying to figure it out and I’m also seeing what I haven’t dived in enough is like you can see, there’s sort of different symbols here as well too, so it seems like there are some sort of I don’t know if they’re uploading custom symbols to it, but you can see that some of them have a little bit more dedicated symbols. Obviously this is the Burning Man itself, and then we can see all the way out. Into the desert. The great desert. What is there? So I’m not going to spend too much time on this. I just wanted to share this as a resource. I’ll drop the link, unofficial BRC map.com and using says use Chrome for best performance. I think this is worthwhile, and if you’re sort of again planning out, you know you’ll see how concrete those plans are once you get out there. But this is an awesome way to do it. And just I think overall just increasing my excitement for the event as we get closer and closer. So this mentality, Brighton.

I’m preparing for Burning Man 2022. Not sure exactly how I’m gonna tackle you know this yet, but hopefully maybe document some of it in some way.
